As development continues on the game expect more to do at the obelisks. Instead of selecting the upload button you will select Download Creature Data and select which one you want from the list.įor now, that is all that can be done with the obelisks. To download your creatures you will have to return to one of the obelisks after spawning into the game and follow the steps above. To download your survivor data to servers that allow it or solo sessions, select Download Ark Survivor from the character creation screen and choose the one you want to use. After this is done, you will be returned to the character creation screen where you can create another survivor or exit the game. Any inventory left on you will be dropped in a survivor bag. Again, you will get the warning that only your stats and appearance will be sent. This time, however, you will select Upload Survivor Data. Approach the obelisk, access the terminal, and click on Transmit Ark Data. Uploading your survivor is done in exactly the same way as uploading your creatures. So if you plan on continuing to play on that server it would be a good idea to empty the creature's inventory prior to leading them to the obelisk. Any inventory items will be left behind in a survivor bag as if it died.
Before completing the upload the game will warn you that only the creature and its stats will be uploaded. From the next screen select Upload Creature Data and click on the creature you'd like to upload from the list. Access the terminal and click on the Transmit Ark Data button in the top left part of the screen. The v306.63 update also reduces the health of insect swarms by 50 while fixing issues that let them attack through walls.
